Newtown is a picturesque community of about 26,000 citizens in upper Fairfield County noted for its friendly people, beautiful views and access to Lake Zoar.  Area-wise, it is the 5^th largest town in the state at approximately 60 square miles, but is still a "small" town in mindset.  It borders Litchfield and New Haven Counties.  By the way, it is pronounced "new town" and not "Newton" like Sir Isaac!
