Newtown Relay For Life

Relay For Life is an American Cancer Society fundraiser

Do you Relay???

Donate to the Newtown Relay For Life

The Newtown Relay For Life is held every year at the Fairfield Hills Campus.  There is great support from the community and local businesses.  Several thousand people show up to participate in the all night event.  It was listed in the top 11 favorite things about Newtown in a 2007 survey of Newtown residents.  And no, you don't run around the track!  Team members walk (or use a walker or wheelchair) together or take turns throughout the night going around the track.  Jimmy Zarifis has gone from a wheelchair for the first two years to a walker the third year to walking on his own around the track for the first time in 2007!
